Since January this year Profile Techniques Ltd have embarked on an expansion and improvement program.

January - The lease for Unit 11 secured pending reparation work by the landlord. New offices and canteen facilities built on the shop floor of Units 12/13.

February - Work started upgrading the electrical switch gear and re routing power cables to enable a new reception area to be built and eventually machinery on the shop floor to be moved to allow for a greater working space.

March - New Boston Matthew's 60 mm Single screw extruder and down stream equipment ordered along with new moving punch unit.

April - Reception area completed.

May - Preparation work on unit 11 completed and storage racking moved and erected.

June - Mezzanine floor erected in Unit 11 and electrical improvements continue.

July - Power cable laid to Unit 11 and pipe work started for water supply to new water cooling system.

August - Expansion continues. New extruder to be commissioned by the end of the month.
